Municipal Electric Aggregation

The Village of Bensenville received competitive bids to renew the lower-cost electric supply for residents / small businesses program and contracted with MC Squared. The new fixed rate is 7.19¢ per kWh for the 18-month term March 2018 to September 2019.

There is no enrollment fee to join, and no early termination fee to leave the program.

Notices will be mailed to residents and small businesses on January 11, 2018, with a response deadline three weeks later. Ratepayers receiving an opt out notice need do nothing to be automatically enrolled.

NOTE: No one from MC Squared or the Village will ever visit your home or call you to enroll. If a solicitor claims to be the Village supplier, report their information and the incident to the ICC at ww.icc.illinois.gov/consumer/complaint.
