Building a Better Bensenville Through Community Support

The Bensenville Community Foundation was founded in 1993. It is supported by the Bensenville Intergovernmental Group, which brings together the public agencies serving all Bensenville residents:


  • The Village of Bensenville
  • Bensenville Park District
  • Bensenville Fire Protection District
  • Bensenville Community Public Library
  • Bensenville School District 2
  • Fenton High School District 100

Over the years the BCF has been fortunate to help several individuals and groups. In 2012, the Bensenville Community Foundation helped provide the local sponsorship for a KaBOOM! Playground, built at W.A. Johnson School.

Other Grants/Scholarships include: Young Musicians Mentor Band, War Dogs Making It Home, College Scholarships,

The Wall That Heals, Bridgeway Sound System, Music in the Park helping several groups with 50/50 raffle fund-raiser including Boy Scouts, Lions, BBAA, Bandits, American Legion, Kiwanis, Sister Cities, Bensenville Arts Council. Bensenville Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization, and donations are tax deductible.
