The Bensenville Police Department has implemented a voluntary program that allows individuals with special needs or disabilities an opportunity to provide information to first responders, then, when an emergency situation arises, emergency personnel will be better equipped to serve those with the special needs. The information will be stored in a secure database and when Police, Fire or EMS personnel respond to that individual’s residence or place of work in an emergency the emergency personnel will be informed of the special need in order to more effectively assist the individual.
To register for the program, you can either download the form
HERE or pick up an application at the Bensenville Police Department located at 345 E Green St. Completed applications must be returned to the Bensenville Police Department. For more information, contact Deputy Chief Eric Zodrow at (630) 350-3455.
