Redmond Reservoir Expansion

The Village of Bensenville recently completed a study of the Redmond Reservoir Hydrologic & Hydraulic Analysis. The Village Board approved this report on March 8, 2016. Based on the finding of the report, additional 20 ac-ft (7,494,062 gallons) of capacity needs to be created along with storm sewer conveyance improvements to reduce flooding within the Redmond reservoir watershed. Prior to implementing storm sewer conveyance improvements, it is critical to provide additional storage capacity. The estimated construction cost of the Redmond Reservoir expansion is approximately $2.4 million.
