The new Illinois Route 390 Tollway from Lake Street to Illinois Route 83 will be open as a cashless tollway on November 1, 2017. Having an I-PASS transponder in your car means you receive a 50 percent discount on your tolls. Beginning January 1, 2018, the Illinois Tollway will no longer be offering the discount to cars without transponders. Activate your new transponder to continue receiving SO percent discounts on the Illinois Tollway.
