Earth Day – A Community-Wide Celebration

Join us to celebrate Mother Earth at our first annual village-wide cleanup! Give back to your community while helping
beautify our local parks and spaces. Register yourself, family, friends, or your organization and choose your worksite location. All supplies and materials will be provided.
To be assured your Think Green t-shirt, you must register by 12pm, April 14. You may sign up in person at the Deer Grove Leisure Center, located at 1000 W. Wood Street, or via phone by calling 630-766-7015, ext. 2001. At registration, please choose your location and provide your name, address, phone number, email, and size for your complimentary t-shirt.

Tree Planting Ceremony
Begins at 1:30pm | Fischer Farm, 16W680 Grand Avenue
Community members can join their neighbors and local dignitaries in a community tree planting ceremony and a complimentary lunch.
Recycling Event
9am-Noon | Bensenville Water Park Parking Lot, 1100 W. Wood Street
Rain or shine! Drop off your old or used electronics at the Bensenville Water Park Parking Lot where these items will be collected for recycling. For a list of acceptable electronic items to recycle click here.
