To the Bensenville community:
Since first taking office as Village President in 2017, I have led with the belief that effective leadership is brought through the relationships and collaboration with those you serve. With a great team at the village and a strong connection to Bensenville residents, built through open and honest dialogue, our community has flourished.
As I begin my second term as your Village President, thank you, to every one of you, for your continued support and trust. I’m truly honored by the opportunity to serve our great community.
There has been no greater challenge in my time in office than the COVID-19 pandemic. This past year tested the strength and resilience of all residents, including myself. Despite all the difficulties, we came together as a community to support one another. Whether it was supporting local restaurants, throwing birthday parades, or spreading positive messages, we never lost sight of the sense of community we all share. To protect our neighbors, we transformed Fenton High School into a mass vaccination site - a monumental effort between local taxing bodies and village leaders. This is what our community does: we join together, support each other and help those most in need.
Throughout my time in office, the overall well-being of Bensenville residents has always been the top priority. While the pandemic has served at the forefront of conversations, I continued to focus on efforts that drive economic development, advocating for local investments that will benefit our businesses and families. As a result, we became one of the few suburbs in the state to demonstrate stability and growth this past year.
I’m proud of what we have achieved over the past four years and I’m confident the future holds great things for Bensenville. Our village has shown that by coming together and supporting one another, we are truly Bensenville strong.
Your neighbor,
Frank DeSimone
Village President
