VILLAGE RECYCLING EVENT & PAPER SHREDDING – JUNE 4TH

The Village is excited to host a recycling event on Saturday, June 4th from 9-11am at the Public Works facility parking lot. This event is open to all DuPage County residents (no businesses) and includes recycling opportunities for electronics, textiles or clothing, and paper shredding. A list of all excepted items and additional event details can be found at bensenville.il.us.

Paper Shredding Details
Participants may bring up to 5 boxes or bags for on-site shredding and recycling. Please remove all binder clips, binders, or media disks. Staples and paperclips do not need to be removed.

Electronics Recycling Details
Most items are FREE of charge, excluding CRT, Flat Screens, Projection TVs and Monitors: Under 21” screen $25 per unit, over 21” screen $35 per unit. 
Payments: Cash or credit card accepted, no checks. Payment may be made on site or in advance at recycling.eworksesi.org.

Textile Recycling Details
Please ensure all of the textiles are dry and remove all hangers and any sharp objects. Ensure all items are in sealed plastic bags. Due to processing limitations, our recycling partner cannot accept items of any kind that are wet or dirty.
