[ARCHIVED] UPDATE: Holiday Car Parade


Holiday Car Parade

Due to ongoing construction along South Center Street, the Holiday Car Parade will begin at Faith Community Church instead of Tioga School. The parade route will travel North on Center Street, to West Green Street, onto Addison Street North, right into the Metra Parking lot, and right back onto Center Street ending in front of the ceremonial Christmas tree in downtown where Santa will arrive.

Residents and businesses are invited to decorate their cars with holiday themed decorations and participate in a Holiday Car Decorating Parade and Contest. Winners will be announced at 6:45pm prior to the tree lighting ceremony. 

All decorated cars must be appropriate. The Village reserves the right to prohibit inappropriate themes from participating. 

Event date: Sunday, November 20th
Starting Location: Faith Community Church
All vehicle must be lined up by: 4:30pm
Parade begins: 4:45pm
