This year we have experienced a very harsh winter. From bitter cold to heavy snow to spring-like temperature teasers and back again, I am sure we are all looking forward to any glimpse of Spring we can muster. No stranger to the Chicagoland area knows that these temperature patterns play havoc on our streets – yes POTHOLES!
The Bensenville Public Works Department has been spending every possible day patching as many potholes we can. This winter we have repaired and filled over 1,500 potholes so far on Bensenville streets. If you notice any significant potholes that have not been repaired in a timely manner, please contact the Public Works Department at 630-350-3435.
Please note that Bensenville also has a number of State, County and Township Roadways that are not under our jurisdiction and are maintained by other agencies. If you notice significant potholes or serious driving conditions on those roadways, please contact the appropriate numbers below. We have also included information on how to file claims with each Department. You may also contact us at the Village Action Line at 630-594-1515.
Please remember to be cautious when driving and adjust speeds and driving habits for road conditions.
