The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will tentatively begin removal of the traffic light at York Road and Roosevelt Street on September 8, 2015. Beginning September 3rd the light will begin flashing yellow to North and Southbound traffic on York Road indicating to vehicles to proceed with caution. A flashing red light for eastbound traffic on Roosevelt will be in effect, after completely stopping proceed to turn when it is safe.

When the project is complete York Road will flow freely and a stop sign will be installed on Roosevelt. Thank you for your patience during this project.
